Description
This is a pre-solicitation announcement for RFP SP4400-09-R-0003, for continue services needed for disposal, transportation, storage, non-personal services for pickup, recycling, removal of hazardous, non-hazardous was that may include, but not limited to PCBs, Universal Waste, fuels blending, DEMIL items (such as BondCote Tents, Carbtrol Filter Containers, etc.), compressed gas cylinders, crushed fluorescent lamps, tubes, & end caps, lithium batteries and various types of hazardous waste material for DRMO Ft. Hood and the Texas Army National Guard and Army Reserves. This RFP is a firm-fixed, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, 100% Small Business Set-Aside request for proposal. The anticipated issuance of the above listed solicitation shall be issued on or around February 16, 2009 and closing date of March 16, 2009. The Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted on the DRMS Internal Web page @ http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/index.html. There is an anticipation of a single award for this procurement. The awarded contract will have an 18-month Base Period and (2) 18-month Option Periods. Performance will be requested by issuance of written delivery orders against the contract periods. Prospective contractors and subcontractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and have obtained a CAGE Code number by the closing of the above listed solicitation to be eligible. Potential offerors can register for a cage code number at: http://www.ccr.gov/. All prospective contractors and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, State and Local laws, ordinances and regulations governing the handling, disposal, and transporting of various types of hazardous and non-hazardous waste material and comply with environmental protection laws.
