- On December 31, 2008, the National Park Service (NPS) issued a propectus for proposals to operate a Campground and General Store within Pinnacles National Monument, Pacines, California. A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Pinnacles National Monument Headquarters, at 10:00 a.m. Please contact Albert Faria, Chief Ranger, for reservatioins and directions at (831) 389-4486 ext. 247. All questions are due to the contact person in the inside cover of the prospectus in wrting no later than January 21, 2009 by 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). Any proposal, including that of the existing concessioner, must be received by the Pacific West Regional Office, Attn: Isabel Alvarado, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, CA 94607 by the deadline date in order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract. The prospectus is available on the NPS Concessions website at http://www.concessions.nps.gov/Prospectus.cfm. If you are planning to submit a proposal and have obtained your prospectus from the website, please advise Isabel_Alvarado@nps.gov of your contact information in order to receive future responses to questions or amendments to the prospectus. Those who have been placed on the mailing list will be provided with any additional information specific to the prospectus in writing. The same information will also be posted to the above-mentioned website. A hard-copy prospectus is also available upon written request.
