- Notice of contract action: intent to award sole-source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Providence, Rhode Island (VAMC Providence) intends to negotiate and award a contract for hardware and software support, maintenance licenses and upgrades of the VISN 1 MUSE (Marquette Muse) EKG System to GE Medical Systems, Milwaukee, WI 53223. The system is an integrated enterprise storage and diagnostic EKG System. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302-1. GE Medical Systems is the sole source of the required hardware and software system. This is a commercial acquisition under FAR 12.6 and 13.106. Support for Version 5.X is to be acquired with option to upgrade to Version 7.X. The period of performance is twelve months.
