Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, N00104-09-Q-Q261, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is being competed on an unrestricted basis. The Naval Inventory Control Point-Mechanicsburg has a requirement for Brocade/McData Switch maintenance; see below for the required products, serial numbers and quantities. Brand name products only; see the justification below for details. Please quote all products or none. Delivery and acceptance for Portsmouth, NH is at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Building 170, 6th Floor, Portsmouth, NH 03804-5000. Delivery and acceptance for Norfolk, VA is at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Code 1230, Building 74-2, Norfolk, VA 23709-5000. FOB Destination. The so! licitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-28 and DFARS Change Notice 20081218. The associated NAICS code is 423430 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Offeror must complete and submit with its proposal, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items and DFARs 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-- The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The additional clauses cited within this clause are applicable: FAR 52.222-3, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.225-1, FAR 52.225-13, FAR 52.232-33, FAR 52.247-64.
