Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This is a notice of intent to award to a sole source based on an urgent and compelling need to replace a Catrpillar Diesel 3508B XQ 1000 utility grade generator at the National Institutes of Health Campus in Bethesda, Maryland. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is not a small-business set-aside procurement. The solicitation number is NIHOF2009073. Applicable clauses 52.212 1, "Instructions to Offerors Commercial Item", 52.212 3 "Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items", 52.212 4 "Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items" and 52.212 5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items not be accepted.
