Description
Project consists of, but is not limited to the establishment of an RTR site at the Lake Front Airport, New Orleans, LA. Disassembling the existing building (30' L x 20' W x 11'6" H, with gable roofing system). Repaving existing parking lot, re-cabling (4) antenna tower to building, establishing new utilities. Installation of shallow and deep foundation, HVAC, fire protection, grounding, bonding and lighting protection system, steel structure, concrete block exterior. Construct new shelter with gable roof. The arch, block, (split face type) CMU for the shelter shall match existing ATCT Base Building. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE - NAICS 237990 - Estimate Price Range between $200,000 and $300,000. To be considered for award of this project the contractor must be currently registe45ed in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) database (website www.ccr.gov). The request must include the company name, point of contact, address phone and fax number. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transpiration related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontractor at any tier. The DOT bonding assistance program enable firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit of $750,000.
