- The U.S. Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) is seeking a Contractor who will provide the following services for a maximum of eight (8) years - one (1) initial and seven (7) option years beginning March 1, 2009: Furnish Facility Maintenance services for the U.S. RRB headquarters facility – a Federal agency headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The RRB anticipates issuing Solicitation No. RRB09R001 on or about December 16, 2008. This solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (Fed Biz Opps). Copies of this solicitation and its attachments/exhibits will be available for electronic download via the FEDBIZOPPS website. The RRB does not plan to send out copies of this solicitation via mail. Electronic proposal submissions will be accepted, however, actual original signatures on the solicitation Page 1 Standard Form (SF-1449) or its equivalent shall also be required as part of any offeror’s proposal submission. This procurement is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. 12/22/08 Per attached Amendment A-1 - The date for proposal responses is hereby extended to January 15, 2009, 11:00 a.m.
