Description

Fedbizopps will not allow changes to the procurement type once it has been selected. Please disregard the procurement type cited above. This is a Speical Notice. This procurement is for two-way radio equipment for three federally owned buildings. Locations: 1) Alfonse D'Amato Courthouse, Central Islip, NY; 2) Joseph Addabbo, FOB, Jamaica, NY; 3) IRS Call Center, Holtsville, NY. The contractor must provide parts and installation for each location. Location 1: This purchase is for a low frequency radio repeater and Heliax coaxial cable throughout each floor and associated peripheral equipment to establish an 'inbuilding" radio system consisting of a Quantar Repeater and a Distributed Antenna System. The purchase of this proprietary Motorola equipment is necessary to ensure system capability with the current Motorola components. Location 2: This purchase is for a Simulcast radio System. The system is a P25 system and there will be no analog traffic on the system. This purchase is for a low frequency radio repeater and Heliax coaxial cable throughout each floor and associated peripheral equipment to establish an 'inbuilding" radio system consisting of a Quantar Repeater and a Distributed Antenna System. The purchase of this proprietary Motorola equipment is necessary to ensure systgem capability with the current Motorola components. Location 3: This purchase is for the installation of a Quantar Repeater, TRAK9100 remote site clock, modem, GPS antenna and transmission cable, and surge suppression. This will be connected to the buiding ground supplied by the Addabbo building manager, Charles Larson. The repeater antenna will be installed on the east site of the building facing Central Islip. There will be 125 feet of 7/8' transmission line to the antenna. The installtion will adhere to R%^ Standard guidlines for grounding and surge suppression.
