Description
The NAICS Code is 541330. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Port Hueneme, California, intends to issue a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Order on a sole source basis to BAE Systems, Armament Systems Division, 163 Rochester Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40214-2683, under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N00024-07-G-5438, to provide the material and labor required to support four (4) waterfront installations of MK 75 ORDALTs/ECPs simultaneously with four (4) Gun Weapon System Replacement Program (GWSRP) waterfront refurbishments, Standardized Pierside Maintenance and Repair (SPMR) at San Diego, California; Seattle, Washington; Norfolk, Virginia; Mayport, Florida; Pascagoula, Mississippi, and Non-Conus locations. The Contractors assistance shall be in accordance with the technical guidance and instruction coordinated by the GWSRP Program Manager, MK 75 Gun System In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) or Regional Maintenance Centers (RMC) Pacific/Atlantic ! Team Leaders assigned to the project. Period of performance is 12 months. BAE is the only qualified contractor within the United States capable of manufacturing, overhauling, upgrading and performing depot-level repair and service of the Navy's MK 75 Gun System. Only BAE has the necessary in-depth knowledge of Navy gun design, production, assembly, and testing techniques regarding these weapons, including the necessary tooling an in-house capability to build, repair and maintain these guns.
