- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format contained FAR Subpart 12.6. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. A QUOTE IS REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes shall reference Request for Quotes (RFQ) number W911RZ-09-T-0030. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-27. It is the Contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. This requirement will be unrestricted. The NAICS code for this procurement is 713920 with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Quotes shall include pricing of: CLIN 0001; ITEM DESCRIPTION: Transferable 2008-2009 Season Ski Passes; QTY: 180 ea SCOPE OF WORK. The Contractor will provide Transferable ski passes that will be used for all active duty 10th SFG soldiers during conduct of training for the entire 2008-2009 Ski season. The Contractor must have multiple backcountry training areas available adjacent with the ski area. The Contractor must allow the use of military weapons on the contractors facilities from 0800 1400 every Tuesday while conducting ski training with prior coordination; Students must be able to ski tour and also ski off the main slopes. With prior coordination between customer and vendor on timeframes needed, contractor must be able to provide parking for all military vehicles at no cost to the military. Vehicles will consist of (5) five each 50 passenger buses, (5) five each commerical vans, and (1) one each 5-ton vehicle. Contractor must allow soldiers to train and tour on facilities during periods of darkness (between 1800 and 0400) with prior coordination. Contractor must provide a radio frequency for Contractors facility medical services for emergency use only by training units for contact plan. SPECIFICATIONS. a. Training will be conducted by 10th SFG(A) the contractor will not be required to provide any training. b. Contractor Ski facilities should no be no more than 130 miles away for one way travel to and from Fort Carson, CO. Facilities will provide ski lifts capable of carrying a student and his associated training gear. c. The Military will provide: Military ID must be used with in conjunction with the ski pass. Military uniform will be mandatory for all areas to be recognized as a pass holder. The government will provide all applicable Combat Environmental equipment for the soldier to perform the required training. Delivery of season passes are required NLT 7 Days after Receipt of Order Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-1 is supplemented per following addenda: Contractor shall submit their quote electronically via email, provide solicitation number, the time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers, name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, unit price, and an overall total price, a technical description of the item being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation, any discount terms, cage code, DUNS number, tax ID or size of business, delivery days, acknowledgement of solicitation Amendments (if any), warranty information, shipping/handling charges (must be specified), FOB (destination or origin, if not specified, destination will be default). Quotes shall be received at ACA, NR Directorate of Contracting, 1676 Evans Street, Bldg 1220, Fort Carson, CO 80913 ATTN: Lisa Benjamin, not later than 16:00 PM. MT, 3 Dec 2008. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible offeror whose technically acceptable offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer: Award will be made on the basis of determining the availability of meeting the responsiveness of the offerings to the scope of work and specifications identified in this solicitation for the transferable season ski passes, delivery date of NLT 7 ARO, and technically acceptable low price. The Government intends to evaluate offers and make award without discussions; however, this does not preclude the Government from having discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government to do so.
