- Description
- This solicitation requires the supply of a 125VDC station service battery system consisting of 60 individually cased lead-acid battery cells, a seismic qualified battery rack with all of the cell interconnection hardware, and two (2) redundant load-sharing battery chargers rated for 3-phase 480VAC input power and 130VDC 75 amp output power. On-site technical training, installation oversight, and post-installation battery bank load testing will also be required. The selected supplier will be responsible for disposal of the existing 60 lead acid battery cells in accordance with all Federal and State of Montana Regulations. This requirement is being procurred under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAPS) and is not restricted to small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 325911 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The Request for Quotation will be issued on or around December 10, 2008 and the quotes are tentatively due on December 23, 2008. Once issued, the RFQ and any associated amendments will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in CCR in order to be considered for award of this purchase order. Vendors may get registered at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation.
