- NASA/JSC has a requirement for a quantity of 10 Memory, 128K x 32-Bit SRAM's, Part# 5962F0323601VXA, and a quantity of 10, Registered Transceiver, 16-Bit, Bidirectional,Part # 5962R0623401VXA.The requirements are as follows:The Memory, 128K x 32-Bit SRAM are the total radiation dose of 300 krad, input/outputvoltage of 3.3V, 1.8V core, 15ns maximum access time, asynchronous operation organized to131,072 words by 32 bits, and single event latch-up immunity greater than 100 MeV -cm2/mg. The performance requirements for the Registered Transceiver, 16-Bit, Bidirectionalare the total radiation dose of 100 krad, maximum power dissipation of 250mW, independentregisters for A and B buses, Schmitt trigger inputs to filter noisy signals, and singleevent latch-up immunity greater than 110 MeV -cm 2/mg.This procurement is subject to FAR Part 9.2 and NFS Part 1809.2, QualificationsRequirements. NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from Aeroflex-Colorado Springs,Inc. because they are the only qualified manufacturer according to the QualifiedManufacturer List (QML) for MIL-PRF-38535.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:30 p.m. local timeon 11/26/08. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
