- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for the purchase of Shipboard Wire Coil in accordance with NAVSEA baseline drawing number 3014055 and all associated references. This procurement will be solicited and awarded as an "option quantity" fixed price contract with a base year quantity and four (4) option year quantities. Quantities for first articles: 5. First articles can be waived for previously successful sources. Quantities for the base year units are stepladder priced as follows: 0-768, 769-1536, 1537-1824. Option quantity units are to be determined. FOB Origin, Inspection at source, and acceptance at destination. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are only available by accessing Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web site. Registration instructions and Vendor Guide book can be found on the FedBizOpps homepage https://www.fbo.gov. Drawings referenced in this solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Ac! t and are ONLY available to vendors/contractors appointed Data Custodian that is registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendor's/Contractor's Data Custodian's that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp or by phone at 888 352-9333. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332999 and a size standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by December 5, 2008. The anticipated closing date of the solicitation will be January 5, 2009. The RFP will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunity web link www.fbo.gov. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to mark.j.hendrickson@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offer! or experiences problems downloading the RFP from the fbo.gov website. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation (3) and ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/). No bidders list will be maintained by this office. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
