- USAREUR requires the services of professional and reputable tour promoters to provide the type of entertainment services required. The purpose of this program is to boost morale and quality of life for deployed personnel by providing Entertainment from the Home front. Therefore, it is a requirement of this contract that the entertainment provided be identifiable as being from the United States of America. The Contractor shall provide a series of professional entertainment tours for MWR deployment sites in Afghanistan from December 2008 through March 2009. Deployed sites in Qatar (or Kuwait) are typically offered one performance during the course of the tour if the tour transits their location, depending on time or resource constraints. Services provided during each tour shall consist of meeting and greeting deployed service members and personnel, participating or performing in no less than one and no more than two 60 90 minute entertainment events per day (excluding day of arrival and departure), signing autographs, attending command functions, posing for photos, and participating in print/audio interviews over a ten-day tour.
