- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 335921, Size Standard 1000 Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2KBAD8288A002 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular effective 17 October 2008. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for FUD 7031- Mech -200-Hole (25 µm diameter core and a 200 µm diameter cladding, and the core numerical aperture is 0.06 ± 0.01, the core of the FUD-7031 will be photosensitive so that Bragg gratings can be written in the core using ultraviolet light. will have two holes, but no stress rods..).
