- The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, materials, repair parts, and transportation necessary to perform Automatic Door Maintenance Services at Fort Hood, Texas. The Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The period of performance will be for a base year plus four one-year options. Base Period: 1 Feb 2009 31 Jan 2010, 1st Option Period: 1 Feb 2010 31 Jan 2011, 2nd Option Period: 1 Feb 2011 31 Jan 2012; 3rd Option Period: 1 Feb 2012 31 Jan 2013; and 4th Option Period: 1 Feb 2013 31 Jan 2014. The applicable codes for this requirement are: NAICS 811219 with a Small Business size standard of $7 M. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside. Invitation for Bid (IFB) W91151-09-B-0001 is tentatively schedule to be issued 21 November 2008 with a closing date of 11 December 2008. The Automatic Door Maintenance Contract include: providing everything necessary to perform Preventative Maintenance Work, Repair Work and Alteration Work, which includes both Fair Wear and Tear and Other than Fair Wear for 93 doors on the Fort Hood Military Installation, providing and maintaining a door numbering system, and Contractor Manpower Reporting. Award will be made to the bidder whose lowest evaluated price satisfies the Governments stated requirement. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://acquisition.army.mil. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of potential bidders to review this site frequently for any notification of changes or amendments to the solicitation documents. All inquiries regarding this acquisition must be made in writing to the contract specialist (email is acceptable). Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award.
