- Description
- The four forests in Northern California (Klamath, Mendocino, Six Rivers and Shasta Trinity) commonly known as the Northern Province are seeking local sources for vehicle repair for fire equipment such as fire engines, crew carriers, water tenders and heavy equipment. The four forests have approximately 100-125 vehicles that require routine annual maintenance and may need diagnosis and repair of vehicle deficiencies. Some vehicles such as Fire Engines and Water Tenders require additional special servicing and repair of pumping apparatus. Local qualified vendors are sought within the geographic location of the following California counties: Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity. This geographic requirement is necessary for the delivery/pickup of the vehicles and close access for the Government Inspectors who will perform quality assurance. In order to facilitate numerous purchase orders throughout this large geographic area, Northern Province Acquisitions is seeking to establish Basic Ordering Agreements with local qualified vendors to identify vendors and streamline the reoccurring need to incorporate standard requirements for repetitive, similar purchases. Individual orders are expected to range from $3,000 to $7,000 with a maximum order limitation of $25,000. There is no guarantee of award of any purchase order. Enclosed is a draft Basic Ordering Agreement that outlines the terms and conditions that are applicable to purchase orders issued for this type of vehicle repair. Vendors desiring to be considered for a Basic Ordering Agreement shall complete the attached Vendor Questionnaire and submit to the Contracting Officer for consideration of an agreement. All vendors shall be currently registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration can be accessed through the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. Agreements will be restricted to small businesses under NAICS code 811111 (size standard $7 million average annual receipts).
