- Request for Information Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for the Air Force AN/TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observations System For planning and information purposes the Ogden Air Logistics Center, 500th Combat Sustainment Squadron, Weather Systems Flight (500 CBSS/GBLG) is seeking potential sources for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) of the AN/TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observation System. A contractor shall provide supplies and services required to plan, manage, execute engineering, integration, logistics, and operational support tasks; including all software/hardware modifications/upgrades and merchandise purchase options for this system. The anticipated contract period is 2.5 years: 6 month basic with 1 year option and 2- 6 month options until the system is transitioned for organic support. The government requests that interested companies complete the attached Market Survey to provide a summary and relevance to weather, global shipping/customs licensing, system integration of software and hardware experience and related capabilities in regards to performing CLS support should a contract be awarded. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); it is only to obtain market capabilities/industry comments and is to be used for informational purposes only. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request, nor will the Air Force pay for the information requested. Your answers are intended to be used to help construct our acquisition strategy and may be used to structure the Government's RFP. In accordance with FAR 15.202(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Respondents needing confidential treatment for any proprietary information they furnish must comply with the SEC's confidential treatment regulations at 17 C.F.R. 200.83. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Please detail current manpower availability including experience level with the AN/TMQ-53 and its current configuration or describe your process and timeline for securing the necessary expertise. Include any current experience working with the AFWA Consolidate Service Center (AFCSC) at Offutt AFB, NE. 12.
