- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charlestonintends to issue solicitation N65236-08-R-0189 as a sole source commercialcontract pursuant to FAR 13.5 to Cognos Corporation, 15 Wayside Road,Burlington, MA 01803. This procurement is for the acquisition of Cognos TM1Software Support, Maintenance and upgraded products for TM1 servers locatedat the Washington Navy Yard and National Naval Medical Center, BethesdaMaryland. SMART is a cost tracking web-enabled application used to providetimely and accurate access to daily and certified expense data (both financialand workload) associated with operating Navy hospitals and clinics worldwide.Cognos holds the proprietary rights to its TM1 software products and is theonlysource for maintenance and upgrades of its software. A Firm Fixed Price type contract with four option periods is anticipated. TheFSCCode is 7030. The NAICS Code is 511210 with a size standard of $25M.
