- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit, on an unrestricted, full and open competitive basis, for the procurement of replacement Crane Controls and associated Drives on the 30 Ton Crane currently installed on the LSD-49 Class for NSWCCD. Contractor will manufacture the LSD-49 CLASS 30 Ton Crane controls in accordance with the technical document title "Specification for the LSD-49 Class 30 Ton Crane Controls". The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), type contract with a sixty (60) month period of performance. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 335314. Upon its release, Solicitation N65540-09-R-0009 will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and te! chnical proposals containing information necessary to evaluate the offeror's ability to provide supplies and services to successfully fulfill the requirement. A contract award will be made on a best value basis. The evaluation of proposals will consider the offeror's technical proposal more important than the offeror's cost/price proposal. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. The solicitation is expected to be released within 30 days of this posting. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation.
