- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-NAS-0013-2009 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. This RFQ is issued under North American Industry Classification System code 511210. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to SAP Public Services, Inc., for 12 months software maintenance and support for Intelligent Procurement (IPRO) software. The service will be comprised of periodic knowledge-base updates to the IPRO software based on formal changes to the FAR and includes: Federal Acquisition Regulation content; Installation support; and Provision of updates for one calendar year service. 1. PAI*IPRO Annual Update Services (Project)/ 1 each. The performance period will be from date of award through September 30, 2009. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Provisions and clauses applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The due date for quotes is October 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
