- TACOM-LCMC (RI) is seeking Small businesses willing to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) (FAR 13.303) for a period of five years involving items in the 5998 and 5999 federal supply class. A sample of the NSNs for the Circuit Card Assemblies that may be included in this BPA are: 5998-01-017-2994, 11745329; 5998-01-021-7305, 11743417, 5998-01-063-6265, SM-D-805149; 5998-091-063-6379, SM-D-804969; 5998-01-063-6381, SM-D-808399, 5998-01-082-3841, SM-D-805881, 5999-01-019-4618, 11732369; 5999-01-254-0808, 9376084, and 5999-01-296-9450, 11743239. Although these Circuit Card Assemblies are used on the M60 Tank and the M1A1 Abrams Tank, circuit card assemblies for other weapons systems may be solicited under the BPA. If competitive technical data is available. The federal supply class is included on the Fedeeral Prison Industry (FPI) list of items, therefore, if the FPI item is comparable to items from the private sector, in terms of price, quality and delivery, FPI is the mandatory source to whom award will be made. Most orders will be made via purchase order, however, interested vendors must be able to accept credit card purchases. Place of delivery is not known at this time, but willbe when an order is placed. FOB is Destination. When establishing these BPAs the Government will consider suppliers whose past performance is shown them to be dependable, who offer quality suppliers or services at consistently lower prices, and who have provided numberous purchases at or below the simplified threshold. After these BPAs, the Government will continue to monitor the contractor's performance. Sources that BPAs have been established with willbe given an equal opportunity to quote for supplies ordered under the BPA. The quantities will be very small and sporadic. First Article Test may be reuired on some items. Potential sources must provide in their statement of capabilities: 1) History of other similar parts made; 2) If you are a small business, identify if designated as a 8a or Hub Zone entities. this notice is for information and planning purposes and the Government reserves the right to set aside any and all procurements that may result hereunder for small or minority owned businesses.
