Description
Oxygen Concentrator System SPECIFICATIONS The Oxygen Concentrator System shall be an AirSep Corporation Model AS119-1D, or equal, which consists of the following Model Numbers/Part Numbers: AirSep Oxygen Concentrator Model # AS005-4 or equal, AirSep Humidifier bottle Model # HU003-1 or equal, AirSep Oxygen Concentrator Case Model # CA253-1 or equal, and AirSep Bacteria Filter Model # FI001-1 or equal. System description: The oxygen concentrator system shall produce up to 5 liters per minute (LPM) of therapeutic oxygen. This system shall have built-in alarms for power failure and high/low pressure. The system shall have filters to remove dust, bacteria, and other particles. The system shall provide for the attachment of an in-line humidifier. The gas mixture shall be delivered to the patient by producing an oxygen rich gas mixture by drawing in room air and extracting the oxygen. The system shall have a large, easy to read flow meter with backlines for accurate flow settings, built-in handles that make it easy to move or lift, and shall have large casters that glide easily over virtually any flooring surface. The oxygen concentrator system shall have the following salient characteristics: 1)The oxygen concentrator’s performance shall be 1-3 LPM: 95% ± 3%; 4 LPM: 92%± 3%; 5 LPM: 90% ± 3%, or better. 2)The oxygen concentrator’s dimensions shall be no greater than 27.5 in (H); 16.5 in (W); 14.5 in (D). 3)The oxygen concentrator shall weigh no greater than 54lbs. 4)The oxygen concentrator shall be capable of line operation on 120 VAC at 60Hz and/ or 220-240 VAC at 50Hz or 220 VAC at 60Hz, with a power consumption no greater than 350 Watts. 5)The oxygen concentrator shall have the following alarm features: power failure, high and low pressure, temperature, battery test, and low purity test. 6)The system sound level shall be no greater than 56 dB. 7)The bacteria filter shall be installed inside of the oxygen concentrator. 8)The oxygen concentrator shall have the following approvals/ certifications: IEC 601-1 ISO 8359 ISO 9001-2000 CE CAS (Canada) 9) The Oxygen Concentrator Padded Case ( AirSep Part number CA253-1, or equal,) shall be used to house the oxygen concentrator, shall be essential for the protection/ transportation of the oxygen concentrator system, shall be portable, and shall be suitable for battlefield use. The case shall be required to withstand extreme battlefield environmental conditions. The case shall have foam inserts. The case exterior dimension shall be no greater than 36 in. (H) x 28 in (W) x 24 in. (D). The case shall weigh no greater than 40 lbs (less content). Commercial Manuals. The oxygen concentrator system shall be supplied with two (2) copies each of the user/operator manual, maintenance manual, service manual (must include preventative maintenance and repair procedures.) System Warranty. The contractor shall provide a warranty. The warranty shall cover all components in the standard package. Training. The contractor shall provide for on-site training for user/operators when required. Workmanship. The oxygen concentrator system shall be free from defects that detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability. Metal parts shall be free from burrs, pits and deformations. The finished surfaces shall be free of chips, scratches and abrasions. Unit. Each (EA.). One oxygen concentrator system, as specified, constitutes one unit. Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this specification, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, quality assurance practices and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The Government has the right to require proof of such conformance. Preservation, packaging, packing, labeling and marking. Unless otherwise specified, preservation, packaging, packing, labeling and marking shall be to a degree of protection to preclude damage to containers and/or contents thereof under normal shipping conditions, handling, etc., involving shipment from the supply source to the receiving activity, plus any subsequent reshipment from the receiving activity, and shall conform to applicable carriers rule and regulations. Intermediate and exterior package quantities and labeling and marking shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order.
