- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a sole source firm fixed price acquisition for 6 EA Receiver Transmitters with no out year options. The NSN: 5841-01-301-4588 P/N: 8010000653-6 Noun: Receiver Transmitter is applicable to the AN/APN-232, CARA System. The proposed contract action is for spares for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, NAVCOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS., Cage: 57057, in accordance with FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Notes 22 & 26 apply.
