- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Notice to provide services for the management, operation, maintenance, and repair of transportation, construction, and weight handling equipment, dispatching services, snow/ice removal from streets and sidewalks, material delivery, maintenance and repair of generators, street sweeping, and maintenance and repair of vehicle washing station at the Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, New Jersey and its tenant commands. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, including a crane inspector, and an ASE certified mechanic, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to accomplish all of the maintenance, repair, and operation functions included in this contract. The Contractor shall provide equipment, repair parts, materials, supplies, and tools, except as specified herein as Government furnished, to perform the full function of providing transportation operations and maintenance support to the activity, inc! luding lease/rental services, as required. Performance shall be in accordance with the specification. The resultant contract will be a combination firm-fixed price and Indefinite Quantity contract. The guaranteed minimum is the firm-fixed price portion of the contract. There will be Indefinite Quantity line items for ordering of work over and above the firm fixed price portion of the contract. The wages to be utilized in preparing proposals include Davis-Bacon and/or Service Contract Act. The performance period will commence on 1 March 2008 and will be for approximately 8 months. The Department of the Navy intends to issue an RFP for this project. The solicitation and award shall be made utilizing FAR Part 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this acquisition will be 561210 Facilities Support Services ($35.5M) and will be 100% set aside for small business.
