Description
Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Action: The Louisville District Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate a sole source action with River City Construction, L.L.C. for the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) procurement and installation for building 1920, building 1900, and building 1700 at Scott AFB. River City Construction is currently constructing building 1920, and will be renovating building 1900 and building 1700 under contract W912QR-08-C-0007. The acquisition strategy will be design-bid-build, and the estimated award date is December 2008. The plan is to modify contract W912QR-08-C-0007 for this requirement and the estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS is 236220. Installation of the new IDS in building 1920 must be complete by March 2010, the same date that the construction is scheduled to be complete. Installation of the new IDS in buildings 1900 and 1700 must be complete at the same date the renovation work is complete, which is currently projected to be about April 2011. This notice is applicable to NAICS code 236220. This announcement is for informational purposes only. No solicitation is available. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the date of this publication will be considered by the Government. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
