- Project consists of the following work: Enlarge existing parking area. Construct turnouts along road 1452B. Remove and dispose existing wood toilets and furnish and install new concrete vault toilets. Furnish and install parking barriers and picnic tables. Enlarge picnic area. Furnish all materials to mount and install Gov't furnished signing, install Gov't furnished signs. Apply Gov't furnished crushed aggregate on parking area and road 1452B. Est. price: $100,000-$250,000. Est. start work: July 1, 2009. Total HubZone Set aside. A pre-bid tour will be held at 10:00 a.m. October 21, 2008 at the project site. All interested offerors are encouraged to attend. You may call Dave Brady at (208) 875-1730 for more information. A complete solicitation will be available in the winter or spring of 2009. Project is located 2-1/2 miles south of Elk River, Idaho. From the town of Elk River, turn left on State Highway 8 and proceed 2 miles south to the intersection with road 1452. Proceed 1-1/2 miles to junction with road 1452B, follow road 1452B for one mile to trailhead. Project begins at the intersection of roads 1452 & 1452B.
