Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, IT Acquisition Center, will be renewing their annual subscription for ProjNet DrChecks application services through the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS). ProjNet is a not-for-profit software developed by the US Army Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC). The tool provides business-process based information exchange applications between public sector contract or project management offices, funding agencies, and all tiers of designers, consultants, builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and manufactures. It allows the users to securely coordinate information with authorized team members who can take action on the information exchanged-all data is processed within a security accredited platform. Subscription to the application is used to provide resource center enterprise call center support and it supports a maximum of 30 VA design and construction projects at various locations across the United States. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid quotation. Sufficient documentation shall include but not limited to a ProjNet DrChecks application services agreement to offer or propose those services in their behalf. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. All responses must be submitted in writing within 5 calendar days of publication of this notice. If your company has the capability to provide a quote on this procurement action, please send email notification to julio.irizarry@va.gov by no later than 2 pm CST Monday 6 October 2008. Please provide the full company name, point of contact, telephone number, and email address.
