- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-NAS-0054-09 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27 This RFQ is issued as a Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System code 541511. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to Opus Healthcare Solutions, Inc., for 12 months software maintenance and support of the Opus Laboratory System. The Opus Laboratory System is utilized at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Butner, North Carolina; United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri; and FMC Rochester, Minnesota. The performance period will be from date of award through September 30, 2009. The maintenance and support services covered will be routine support, emergency support, call management system, system evaluation and backup, client service priorities and user group services. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The due date for quotes is October 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Provisions and clauses applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation.
