Description

This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to the Riva Networks. The intended order will be for the procurement of 52 Custom Modified PalmOne Treo 650 Smartphones with option features to include: Remotely activated Open Mic capability via dial-in, recording, SD Card, case, and shipping at a cost of $52,200. Riva Networks provides Palm PDA developmental software and hardware that is unique and unavailable to the government from other sources. Riva Networks holds all proprietary right to this software. As a result Riva Networks is the only responsible source to provide the necessary accessibility to the program source code, procedural knowledge, and the expertise in the support and code generation.
