Description
The US Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Command, Joint ArmamentsContracting Center, Picatinny NJ is conducting a Sources Sought survey to locate potential sources who have a working knowledge of the "Enterprise Project Management Software" operation & function together with the IMPRESS integration software. A detailed knowledge of SAP Interface protocols and tools is also required. This proposed contracting effort plays a key strategic role for the Project Integration Office (PIO) as ARDEC continues its move toward best business practices and the implementation of Project Management Institute (PMI) standards for project management at ARDEC. The PIO needs outside industry expertise in Project Management and Project Scheduling to ensure the organization's long term operational success. The contractor must have a working knowledge of implementing and maintaining an Enterprise Project Management system. ARDECs EPM implementation requires the contractor to have technical ability to configure, develop and maintain Enterprise Microsoft Project 2003, IMPRESS integration software and knowledge of SAP interface protocols. The linking of these tools integrates industry proven project management best practices and enables the ARDEC Enterprise to effectively plan both their human capital and other resources against the project schedules, establish project baselines and integrate execution data. This enables ARDEC's project managers to quickly react to shifting project needs and see the impact those changes may have on other projects being executed within the ARDEC Enterprise, as well as enable the deployment of standard cost/schedule/performance reporting for all projects within the Enterprise to both ARDEC management and our customers. Interested sources capable of supplying this type of service are requested to submit their company's name, address, size of business (small or large), Point of contact, telephone number, via E-Mail to david.pisano1@us.army.mil. For technical related issues or questions please contact Mr. David Pisano at 973-724-3274 or via email at david.pisano1@us.army.mil. This is not a request for proposal, this is only a request for a 2 to 5 page narrative of your firms capabilities in this area. Please respond on or before 17, October 2008.
