- Description
- Red River Army Depot (RRAD) has a requirement for Carc Paint, both Aliphatic Polyurethane and Waterborne. A requirements type contract for various colors and container size is anticipated to be awarded for a base and one option year for the use of RRAD only. No funds will be obligated by the award of the resultant contract, but will be obligated by the issuance of delivery orders. Period of Performance will be 12 months after date of contract. This is an ALL OR NONE purchase resulting in ONE AWARD. Paint will be delivered within 60 hours after receipt of delivery order. Material Safety Data Sheets will be provided prior to any paint delivered and approved by RRAD DPW/Environmental personnel. Minimum acceptable shelf life remaining at time of shipment is 85%. Qualified Products Listings will be applicable (QPL). The latest QPL revision apply. Required colors include green, tan, camo black, camo brown, and high heat black. Vendor must furnish products on the QPL listed in the solicitation, see assistdocs.com at http://www.assistdocs.com/search/search_basic.cfm for QPL ad Military Standards and Specifications or vendor must have interim qualification in the experimental Products Program. Quantities listed in the solicitation are estimated quantities only and are not guaranteed. Paint will be provided in 1 gallon, 5 gallon and or 55 gallon container(s). The 55 gallon containers are to be constructed of 16 or heavier gage steel. Individual quantities, characteristics and sizes are listed with each line item and will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download from the RRAD procurement web site on or about 16 October 2008 at https://redriver.army.mil/contract.htm. Firms downloading the solicitation are asked to check the web site to ensure notification of any future amendments.
