- Description
- The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for the installation of a sprinkler system in one building in Laurel, Maryland. This notice is for any Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB). The performance period is one-year base period plus four option years for service and maintenance. Contractor personnel proposed to work under this contract shall be U.S. citizens (green cards not accepted) and non-felons. Interested parties must participate in a MANDATORY site visit on October 28, 2008. To participate, eligible firms must be registered as a SDVOB in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms interested in attending the site visit must (1) submit proof of CCR Registration, i.e. provide Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), (2) complete a non-disclosure agreement (Agreement) for individual(s) to attend the site visit, and (3) complete the contractor access form. Eligible firms shall forward (1) their DUNS, (2) the completed Agreement and (3) the completed access form for each person attending the site visit to the Procurement Division (PRO), Attn: Mishelle Miller via e-mail Mishelle.Miller@usss.dhs.gov or fax 202-406-6801 no later than October 22, 2008 at 11:00am (EDT). Please call (202) 406-6790 to confirm receipt by PRO if no response is received within two hours of email transmittal. Upon receipt of all three items, PRO will forward information pertaining to the site visit (location, time, etc.) to the eligible firm(s). The Solicitation package (including the Statement of Work) will be sent no later than Wednesday, October 22. To participate in the mandatory site visit, each individual must complete a contractor access form; individuals who have not completed an Agreement prior to the site visit will not be allowed access. Firms are responsible for all costs associated with the site visit.
