- The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the ROTARY WING BLADE INPUT NSN: 1615-01-239-7004; INPUT P/N: 406-015-101-113 OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-239-7004; OUTPUT P/N: 406-015-101-113 The proposed contractual action will be for a 3 year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity of 20 and a maximum of 900. This is a Critical Safety Item. This item is not a commercial item. Although Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-1615-340 with MEO A5438 added is adequate to accomplish this repair, this is a critical safety item (CSI) and will be repaired/overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., 600 East Hurst Blvd., Hurst, Texas 76503-8030. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the procedures outlined at the following website: www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ (SAMSAR). Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, US Quality Management Division, ATTN: AMSRD-AMR-SE-QM-AV Bldg 4488, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. The required production schedule is a rate of 30 per month. Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be 120 days ARO. Firms that recognize and perform maintenance and overhaul on the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. No telephone requests or emails for solicitation will be accepted. REQUEST FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR FAX at 256-955-9237. You may MAIL your request to AMSAM-AC-AL-M, Attn: Jody Byrd, Contract Specialist, US Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-AL-M, Jody Byrd, Bldg 5303, M&O, 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5000. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depending upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
