- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (i) This solicitation, FA2517-08-R-6024, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (ii) A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. (iii) This acquisition is being made for full and open competition. The NAICS code is 315211 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (iv) The following commercial items are being requested in this solicitation: See table below. (v) All items are solicited as brand name or equal IAW FAR 52.211-6. (vi) Clauses Incorporated by Reference: The provision at FAR 52.212-1 June 2008, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 (a)(i) (ii) Jan 1999, Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price meeting the salient characteristics listed. The provision at FAR 52.212-3 June 2008, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Feb 2007, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Deviation Sept 2008, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (Sep 2008)(Deviation). All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database @ www.ccr.gov and shall be considered for award. Delivery Instructions: FOB Destination.
