A-One 40 ft to 50 ft vehicle Q- Is a Thomas Built Bus front engine chassis an acceptable equivalent? Thomas Built Buses is owned by Freightliner and share in their service network. A- Yes Q- Is a Freightliner XCR rear engine chassis an acceptable equivalent? A- Yes Q- The bid is requesting two (2) entry doors with handicap accessibility? Do you want both doors to have handicap accessibility, or two doors and handicap accessibility? A- Should be both doors handicap accessibility; reason front examination room, rear examination room and I am assuming a center examination area. For safety reasons two accessible doors. Q- Do you need the mobile satellite system to have teleconference capabilities? A- Yes, also to up-link with the hospital's computer system for patient eligibility information. Q- The delivery date is specified as 150 days from receipt of order. Is 180 days acceptable? A- Yes, 180 Days is acceptable Q- The bid is requesting three (3) exam tables. Does that mean that there are to be three (3) exam rooms? A- Yes, three examination tables for three rooms. This is why Dr. Cutolo wanted a large bus in the range of 40-50' Q- we can provide you with either a 44ft coach or a 38ft. coach. The 38ft. vehicle will give you the same primary healthcare service as the 44ft at a much lower price, but with less floor space for course. If the value factor is of interest to your department, then I recommend the 38ft. In this regard and keeping in mind the bid solicitation guidelines, would you be interested in us sending you a quote for each of the two vehicles? A- Yes, You can provide both quotes.
