- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-08-T-0052 applies and is issued as a Request For quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423910. The agency need is for: Expected delivery date to the end-user, 6th Motor Transport Bn 4th MLG, 338 Newman Springs rd. Red Bank, NJ 07701 is December 2008. All offers shall be in English language. Stateside delivery and overseas delivery is acceptable. All services/material awarded under this contract are expected to be delivered 14 days after the award. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsible offer of whose offer is most advantageous to the government considering technical capability, price and delivery. The government is willing to accept items quoted both "brand name" or "equal". The following salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics must be met in order for an "equal" item to be acceptable for award.
