Description
SCOPE OF WORK: NSWDG has a conference room that is 16.5 feet wide and 30 feet long. It requires a multimedia presentation system with the capability to present briefs, training videos (DVD/CD and VHS), and conduct routine meetings for groups as large 35 personnel. The desired system will integrate multimedia components including projectors, plasma displays, and audio playback of program material. The systems will provide capabilities for PC-based presentations including connections for Desktop computers, laptop computers, and presentations from DVD/CD/VCR. The control system and user interface shall provide an easy means of accessing and operating all system resources. One wall mounted control source and one rack mounted control source are desired. The control panel will feature a simple layout of buttons that will allow the user to turn the projector and display screens on-and-off, provide a means for source selection, channel up/down and volume control for the audio system. System inputs required include; one classified, one unclassified (both computer provided by the government), one additional computer input, two laptop inputs (one at the rear of the room one at the front of the room), VCR/DVD input, KVM switch for selecting desired monitor, USB switch for selecting desired PC input (both switches shall be manually operated). Equipment rack shall be provided to house the required AV equipment, including the two PC furnished by the government. Connectivity to devices will be achieved with a double gang cut out for cables. Display devices required include a ceiling mounted 16:9 video projector, the front wall of the room shall have one 52 inch plasma display and one 16:9 smart board. Audio devices include wall mounted speakers and any required amplifiers to allow playing of audio files from both PCs and the DVD/VCR player. Vendor shall provide system training for up to 10 US Navy personnel. Vendor shall provide as built system drawings with all cabling, plugs, and jacks correctly labeled, along with system warranty and service data.
