- NOAA's Marine Operations Center-Pacific has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, material and labor necessary to perform dockside repairs to the NOAA ship OSCAR ELTON SETTE. All work is expected to be performed at NOAA's facility on Ford Island, Honolulu, HI. Performance period is expected to commence on or about December 8, 2008 and be completed no later than January 19, 2009. The work consists of approximately 8 basic items. Basic work includes: Restoring Aft Crane Anti2Block Device, Cleaning of the Port Main Motor LO System, Cleaning of the Galley Exhaust Vent, Weight Control, Installation of Replacement Paint Locker Fan and Motor, Magnetic Compass and Binnacle Repairs, Repair of the Boat Deck Crane Roto-Seal, and Main Propulsion Generator Repairs. Optional work may include, but is not limited to the following: Installation of Bolt Sockets for Winch, Installation of Trolling Outriggers, Removal of Door from the Forward Mess, Replacement of the Windshield Wipers, Installation of Receptacles, Replacement of the Main Deck Door, Repair of the Seawater Delivery System, Coat Port and Starboard Potable Water Tank, HVAC Duct Cleaning, Installation of Bunk Lights, Replacement and Modification of Doors, Relocation of 02 Deck Fire Alarm Annunciator, Installation of Smoke Detector of 02 Deck, Modification of the Cofferdam, Replacement of Deck Covering in Heads, Installation of Door Closer and Holdback, Cleaning of 4-52-3F, Cleaning of 4-52-4F, Replacement of 02 Deck Tile, Installation of Boat Rack Mounts, Installation of Chest of Drawers, Transformer Maintenance, Replacement of Washers and Dryers, Replacement of 3/8 inch Longline Reel Hydraulic Tubing, Attachment of Halyard Yardarms to Flying Bridge Mast, Modification of Trawl House Operator Chair, Replacement of Copper/Nickel Salt Water Piping, Installation of Multi Cable Transit, Installation of Electronic Charting Display Information System, and Dual Meridian Gyro Installation.
