Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Acquisition Management, Arlington, VA intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Aero Avionics, Inc., dba AeroServices, located at 704 Rod Sullivan Rd, Sanford, NC 27330 for the installation of an aerial imagery system, and a Technisonic TDFM 7000 radio system including all antennas, install kit, upload cable and key loader cable on a Bell OH58 helicopter. The proposed firm-fixed price purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with AeroServices under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) are 488330 and 334220. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for AeroServices. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this requirement, however, a determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing Date is 09/24/2008 at 10a.m.
