- Sole Source Synopsis: SpaceSaver Replacement Parts Hill AFB, Utah PR No.: F2D0AR8226A001 Date Posted: 16 September 2008 Response by: 19 September 2008 This is a sole source synopsis for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be received no later than 19 September 2008 at 1400 MST. The Operational Contracting Office (75CONS/PKA), Hill AFB Utah, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract to purchase replacement parts from SpaceSaver Storage Systems Inc., to replace some of the parts that have become obsolete. The justification is because no other replacement parts are compatible to install on the SpaceSaver shelving units and it would cost the government twice as much money to replace the entire shelving units. Classification Data: NAICS Code: 337215 FSC Code: 7125 SBA Applicability & Size Standard: N/A (Sole source to large business SpaceSaver Storage Systems Inc.) Description of item(s) to be acquired: Purchase Heim Data Recorders Dates and Place of Delivery: Delivery Date: 60 Days after contract award date Delivery Location: Hill AFB, UT 84056 Evaluation of Proposals: Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The responsible offerors must be registered in the Certifications and Representations database (available at: http://orca.bpn.gov/) system per FAR 52.212-3. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (available at: www.ccr.gov) per FAR. Lack of registration in CCR will qualify contractor as ineligible for award. All prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of modifications (if any) or other information pertaining to this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a request for information in response to this synopsis.
