Description
The BEP is interested in receiving information on commercially available U V Drying Systems for in-line installation. Such a system should meet the following specifications: a.- Adjustable power output with a nominal capability of 600 watts / inch; b.- UV lamp system capable of interchangeably utilizing all commercially available lamps (H, D, V, etc.); c.- Cooling method does NOT use "high volume / pressure" air directed at the curing subject; d.- System will restrict / minimize IR heat being applied to the curing subject; e.- Minimal lamp head enclosure size is less than 12-inches tall; f.- Two (2) mounting applications are desired that will utilize lamp irradiator length of 1)12-inches & 2) 30-inches; Solicitations are not available at this time, and as such any request for a solicitation will not receive a response. This request for information is part of our market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. This information will help the Government determine the commercial availability of these systems and the terms and conditions under which they are normally sold.
