Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Polk, Louisiana intends to award a sole source contract to MICROTECHNOLOGIES LLC, DBA MICROTECH, 8330 Boone Blvd. STE 600, Vienna, Virginia 22182-2659. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519 with a standard size of $23 million. MICROTECH originally installed the VTC system in January 2005. MICROTECH currently has a maintenance/service agreement in place for the VTC system. This contract will consist of: Relocate red active devices in accordance with TEMPEST emissions guidelines (NSTISSAM 2/95A). Red/Black Engineering-Installation Guidelines MIL-HDBK-232A Notice 2 and DISA requirements. Re-Install all cable runs in accordance with same requirements listed in paragraph 1 above. Install conduit runs in accordance with same requirements listed in paragraph. Re-install the GFE VTC encryption device. GFE SIPERNET KIV-7 and GFE Cisco router devices requirements listed above. Upgrade and re-configure all connections. Conduct acceptance testing and user familiarization. Interested parties must submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 5:00 P.M CST on 17 September 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
