- Description
- The Government intends to award a sole source FFP contract to RAJANT Corporation, 400 E. King Street, Malvern, PA 19355. The requrement is for IEEE.802.11(a/b/g) radios. These radios will work with the Motorola WiMAX system being istalled at the Electronic Proving Ground next year. The radios will work in both the 2.4Ghz and 900Mhz frequency ranges required to radiate both in and out of STRYKER and other Army vehicles to communicate system status messages. This requirement is for the following equipment: 70 each; PN: LX-2409, Bread Crumb LX dual radio, IEEE 802.11(a/b/g) compliant node, 2.4 GHZ, and 900 MHz. Include AC/DC power supply, pole-mount bracket, 2.4 GHz & 900 Hz 5dBi antennas. 55 each; PN: VHDC-24, DC/DC Converter with power conditioning. DC input 10-36V DC 20W. 110 each; PN: 10C, 10 foot cable, N-type male/N-type M LMR 400. PN: SWR-BCC, BC/Commander Software (only for version 10.0 or higher firmware). PN: SWR-01, First year breadcrumb software, firmware, hardware maintenance, warranty, and upgrades. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit electronic proposals to: carmen.simotti@us.army.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is not a Request for Quotations and no solicitation will be issued. This is full and open competition and NAICS code is 334220.
