Description

This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000. Further in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(ii) it is the intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to make award to the Midlantic Corporation. The intended order will be for the upgrade of the DEA's Office of Investigative Technology's intrusion detection system in compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive HSPD-12, Personal Identity Verification (PIV) I and PIV II, and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Publication 201. Midlantic installed the current IP Intrusion Detection System cameras which are an integral part of the complete Access Control. In order to continue to maintain the integrity of these highly specialized systems it is necessary to have a follow-on order to Midlantic Corporation for this upgrade.
