- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 334516 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES: 500 SOLE SOURCE BUY FROM VASHAW SCIENTIFIC, INC The purchase of: (1) - Leica Apochromatic Intelligent Functioning Digital Stereomicroscope Part Number - P/N M205C Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote MUST include your: CAGE CODE DUNS NUMBER TAXPAYER ID NUMBER (GSA CONTRACT NUMBER) - IF APPLICABLE Requested delivery date is 30 days ARO or earlier. Manufacturer: Leica Justification: Data will interface with existing systems and allow for automatic storage of digital microscope settings, such as zoom, focus position, and calibration that are used during photography. Controls must ensure reproduction of individual photographic specifications if further analysis is required. Microscope must also function in several modes including fast zoom, motor focus, and "z-axis" motorized function.
