- Description
- The Veterans Health Administration located in Altoona, PA intends to issue an invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete Project 503-03-112, FCA Correct Door Deficiencies, at the VA Medical Center, Altoona, PA 16602 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Tasks associated with this project include but are not limited to replacement of miscellaneous doors throughout the facility. This project includes various disciplines of work with the primary disciplines being but not limited to: Carpentry. Work is to be completed within 365 calendar days. Specifications and Drawings for submitting a bid will be available at http://www.fbo.gov/. All respondents must be registered in CCR data base, see http://www.ccr.gov and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov, along with Vets 100 at http://vets.dol.gov/vets100/. Bidders must be registered in vetbiz at http://www.vetbiz.gov/. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at this website. All parties must obtain amendments to the solicitation through the web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. Interested parties must go to the web site to be entered on the Bidders Mailing List and to obtain copies of the Bidders Mailing List. All questions must be submitted in writing (no e-mails) to the issuing office via fax (fax 814-942-9253) no later than 4:30 P.M. on October 20, 2008. Solicitation Issue Date will be on or about September 29, 2008. Two (2) pre-bid conferences will be held for this solicitation, the first will be held on October 6, 2008, 10:00 A.M., in Building 2, Room 106 at the VA Medical Center, 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602. The second pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 A.M. on October 14, 2008 in Building 2, Room 106. athe the VA Medical Center, 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16602. The Bid Opening will be held publicly at 2:30 P.M. on October 29, 2008 in Building 2, Room 106 at the VA Medical Center, 2907 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238350, with a small business size standard of $13.0 million. The cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00.
