- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in the FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5. Quotes and or Bids are requested and no written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSBP1008Q2045 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The Request for Quote (RFQ) for Brand name or Equal Iridium 9505A Standard Kit Phones. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect Federal Acquisition Regulation FAC 2005-26. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is: 517410. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-09-17 2:00pm, Eastern Standard Time. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requires the following: (1) One hundred (100) Iridium 9505A Satellite Phones w/ Standard Kit (12 Month warranty) to include phone/battery; AC Travel charger w/ International Plug Kit; 1 High Capacity Battery, Antenna Adapter, Antenna, Portable Magnetic Auxilary w/5’ coax cable, DC Auto Accessory; Leather Holster, Lanyard Wrist wrap; Earpiece and User guide-English. (2) One hundred (100) SIM cards (if not included) (3) One hundred (100) Pelican Carrying Cases (4) Maintenance/Warranty option(s) for year two and out years (5) Delivery Costs/Terms (ARO) *** This procurement of satellite phones is to be used to back up existing communication systems and devices in case of its failure due to a catastrophic event or international emergency. Phones will be used on an “on demand” basis only. As such, CPB requests price/per minute rates for usage. Please provide all monthly service, activation and cancellation fees as applicable. Quote must include the solicitation number along with your Tax Identification Number (TIN), DUN and Bradstreet number (DUNS), complete Business Mailing Address, contact name, contact phone number, contact fax number, and contact email address. Note: Ensure your firm is registered in CCR and ORC-All vendors must be registered in CCR and ORCA to receive government contracts- www.ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov/. All responsible offerors that respond to this solicitation must submit the pricing portion of their quote to: brice.winston@dhs.gov Submit questions to brice.winston@dhs.gov The following FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5.
