Description
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award a sole source procurement to VirtualAgility, Inc, 17 Lakeview Road, Winchester, MA 01890. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain VirtualAgility’s WorkCenter v4.0 and Virtual Operations, Planning and Sharing (OPS) Center Licenses. These VirtualAgility products have been evaluated, are in use in the CBP production environment, and are in process to be added to the CBP Technical Reference Model (TRM). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210, and the size standard is $23M. VirtualAgility is the only provider that offers these software products. This software will be utilized to integrate the CBP Application Integration Portal (CAIP), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), and help build unique, cross collaboration platforms across the CBP environment. The vendor/manufacturer, VirtualAgility is also the only entity that offers maintenance on its patent-pending products. In accordance with FAR 6.301 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements”, CBP has determined VirtualAgility to be the only firm capable of satisfying the requirements stated above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Notwithstanding, any interested firm that believes it is capable of meeting the requirement stated herein may submit written qualifications, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Interested firms shall provide detailed information outlining their capabilities – any response failing to provide the aforementioned data will be disregarded. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
