- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N00421-08-R-0138 is issued as a Request for Quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The requirement is for brand name eRoom Licenses Maintenance Support for the following items listed below: (1) Collaboration Server (MS SQI) Servers - 610 Qty (2) eRoom (Core) ST - 610 Qty (3) eRoom (Core) ST - 1000 Qty (4) eRoom (Core) ST - 1800 Qty (5) eRoom Enterprise ST - 2443 Qty (6) eRoom Server (MS SQL Server) ST - 1 Qty. The period of performance will commence on 10/01/08 and expire on 09/30/09 at the IT/IM Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD. The NAICS code is 811213 and the size standard in millions of dollars is $7.0M. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision 52.212-2 is applicable to this requirement and the evaluation criteria to be used in paragraph (a) are as follows: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) will be the most important factor. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with their offer. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and these additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to this acquisition: 52.222-26 (Equal Opportunity), 52.232-33 (Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer – Central Contractor Registration) and DFARS 252.204-7004 (Alternate A, Central Contractor Registration) “Required Central Contractor Registration” applies to all solicitations issued on/after 6/1/98. Lack of registration in CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Please ensure compliance with this regulation when submitting your offer.
